After finding success with a 5-sound Magnifying Glass and large format book, we decided to make this boxed set. This repurposes the magnifying glass module and converts the book into a smaller format board book. The box contains an insert that holds the book and magnifying glass in place, but still displays them in an open window, allowing for try-me of the sound module.
This is my original concept drawing for the project. The book was not finalized at this point; I thought that Elmo might be using his magnifying glass to look at bugs!
This is my orthographic drawing of the magnifying glass sound module, including views with major internal components shown.
We expanded this line to include a 5-sound Telescope module and book in a box of the same dimensions. This is my design for a Jake and the Neverland Pirates box, placed in a template that I designed.
